TEHRAN – The vice president for parliamentary affairs said on Tuesday that the government has received confirmation from the chiefs of the Judiciary and the Supreme National Security Council for the bill to amend the law on countering the financing of terrorism.
The parliament passed the law on countering the financing of terrorism two years ago, and the law was also approved by the Guardian Council and was handed to the government, Hossein-Ali Amiri said, IRNA reported.
In these two years, the flaws of the law has become evident in practice, necessitating changes to improve it, Amiri added.
